Overview
The teachoceanscience.org site was created to serve as a central location to gather the many ocean science education resources that our group has generated and compiled throughout our experiences in the ocean education community. We are scientists and educators who collectively participate in a range of ocean science and education pursuits, from running a Center for Ocean Science Education Excellence (COSEE), leading teacher trainings and conducting scientific research to teaching high school ocean science courses and developing ocean-related STEM programs for public school districts. The resources available here are unique because they were not only developed and reviewed by teachers, but because they were also vetted by scientists to ensure scientific rigor and accuracy.
